Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is Pakistan’s new foreign minister, likely to take oath next week

The Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, will be the new Foreign Minister of Pakistan, likely to take the oath next week.

Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be the next Foreign Minister of Pakistan. He is likely to take the oath within the next two days.

Qamar Zaman Kaira, the adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Kashmir affairs, told mediapersons in London. In a tweet shared by a Pakistani journalist, Kaira is heard saying that Bilawal will take the oath in the next two days.

He said it has been decided principally and that there will be no roadblocks to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari taking office.

The PPP is the second-largest party in the current coalition government of Pakistan led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Shehbaz, was elected by 174 of the 342 parliamentarians on April 11. The brother of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz, had led the opposition’s no-trust charge against Imran Khan in the National Assembly.
