5G launch countdown begins: 5G spectrum assignment letter to all companies, will be launched soon

Airtel has paid Rs 8312.4 crore towards spectrum dues. The 5G spectrum assignment letter was also provided to Airtel within a few hours of the payment. This information has been given by Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman of Bharti Enterprises himself.

The auction of 5G spectrum was completed in early August, after which Airtel, Jio and Vodafone Idea are preparing to launch 5G in the country. Now Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that the assignment letter of 5G spectrum has been handed over to the Telecom Service Provider (TSP) issued and the companies have been asked to finalize the preparations for the 5G launch.

Let us tell you that Reliance Jio had said that it will celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi with the launch of 5G. In such a situation, it was expected that the 5G launch of Jio would be done on the occasion of 15th August. Airtel also made a similar statement, but neither company’s 5G has been launched yet.

Jio has also claimed that it will soon complete 5G coverage in 1,000 cities in the country. For your information, let us tell you that Jio has the most bands of 5G with many bands.
