Laura Rutledge Praying For Kirk Herbstreit’s Family On Tuesday
Kirk Herbstreit’s son and current Ohio State football player Zak Herbstreit has been hospitalized.
It’s not known what he’s dealing with but Kirk did mention via a statement that his son has a “long journey ahead.”
“My son Zak is in the hospital and wanted me to send this note out. I just wanted to add how much we appreciate so many people reaching out concerned about his well-being. He has a long journey ahead of him,” part of Herbstreit’s message read.

After Herbstreit put this out, Laura Rutledge tweeted that she is praying for Herbstreit and his family like everyone else is.

Zak is a junior at the university and is a tight end for the football program.
He’s currently being monitored and evaluated at Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
